The film follows three men in Detroit, struggling to live in the notoriously failed city. But far from being disaster or utopia porn, the film seeks neither to promote or diss but instead just watches what the situation is like on the streets in the neighborhoods of the city. It’s a very real take on Detroit, a view you don’t see much in current media coverage. I very much want to see the final product, especially after seeing the trailer:
The project is raising $20,000 towards final filming and post-production, and at this point has $9743 towards that goal, about halfway there, with 21 days to go.
